Why are uBlock users even on Chrome? The two are completely opposed to each other philosophically.
- Yeah, but most people don't give it any thought, do they? Lots of people would dump Chrome if they gave some thought to what's going on behind the screen.
- I for one was simply lazy, but this is enough of a kick to get me to finally make that switch.
  
  Same here. Finally replaced my chrome shortcuts with Firefox. Google yet again proving their incompetence.
  
  I really wish there was an alternative to android, other than ios. I'd love to get off Google's ecosystem before they inevitably kill it themselves.
  
  I have occasionally been without an adblocker, when I'm fixing someone else's laptop or on the road without mine, and IT IS HELL. Google doing this says a lot about Google, and it ain't pretty.
- It's not necessarily straightforward to run Firefox on a Chromebook.
  
  Your point is taken but It would again beg the question why someone that wanted to block ads would buy a device designed by an ad company.
And chrome will never be used by me
