Interesting. Another college did this: UVA. I assumed this article was going to be about their pushing everyone into “Canada“ (neighborhood) and then taking over the area around them and summarily pushing them out of there too. Sad to see we have enough cases of this that it’s unclear which instance of a Virginia college pushing Black people out of their homes is being referenced.

Good article. The crimes that were done against black communities to make the white boomer lifestyle possible need to be laid out, even if nobody who did this saw accountability during their lifetimes, reparations should be made. Within my parent's lifetimes, apartheid was the law in the USA. We haven't even begun to truly account for what happened.
