OLED screens can now be repaired with a laser

Pretty cool! Looks like this repairs broken traces but not burn in
- Burn in can't be repaired, unfortunately. It's not a defect, its the literal organic compounds making up the subpixels decaying into other simpler compounds.
  
  Although OLED TVs do run patterns that can help even out the wear on panels (by wearing the other areas). It works well on my LG C1.
  
  But wouldn't it be cool if lasers could un-decay those compounds into less simple compounds?
Strange Parts is a nice youtube channel. Really interesting.
