What do we know about this group?
Trots this and Trots that - sure, whatever, IMT has some cringe takes, but normalizing communist imagery and exposing people to even some of the most basic concepts is far superior to nothing. That the IMT can get 500 people out to an event proudly self-identifying as communists (whether you agree with their theory or not) is pretty impressive, and I think a hopeful development.

Honestly, it's not even about Stalin. Hate Stalin. Personally I like the guy the killed the Nazis, but their constant book licking for imperialists is fucking gross and makes me hate them with a passion.

I think its the trots of the IMT, i read they recently started forming new communist parties, they go by Revolutionary Communist Internacional now

their local branch announced their formation with a post hashtagged #marx #engels #lenin #trotsky and had a ton of Alan Woods books for sale. they're trots.

I ran with the IMT for a hot minute. I can't divulge details but they have made a trans comrade of mine, who was a member for a long time, feel unsafe with the group. There is also some sex pest shit being covered up in their Canadian chapters.
Sorry to make it sound like I'm digging up drama, but these are things that happened a few years ago, to a friend whom I trust - I didn't ask for details then out of respect. That being the case, because of it, I literally have nothing else to say about it.

PSL, DSA (not the leadership), and many others are not trotskyist. Also the US only goes after actual threats, trots historically have been the useful idiots for america in every instance.
