Utah Phillips used to always introduce this song by reminding everyone that his last words were "Fire!" as an instruction to his firing squad. And then he would joke and say that just before that he had requested that upon his death he wanted his body dragged over the state line into Wyoming because he didn't want to be caught dead in Utah.
