Remember when all the western media and professional armchair generals were laughing their assess out for the supposedly abysmal gains of the Russian military in the opening months of the war?
- Russian army should have stayed in Kiev.. They were and are treacherous through and through.
  
  They were horrifically overextended and were beaten back, or they would have been cut off by redeploying Ukrainian units.
  What do you mean “stay in Kiev”??? Do you think they just waltzed in on vacation?
Yeah, but I'm sure their families can take comfort from the fact that they died for the (American) red, white, and blue.

Aren't those mostly empty villages, that have been evacuated prior to the offensive?
- Mostly minefields maybe 😅
Still better than Douglas Haig, however tepid praise that is.
No wonder the USA is angered by the result, and all the billions spent for the counteroffensive
- It did half of its purpose: clean NATO's old inventory so that countries will have to buy more from the USA. Getting Russia desestabilized/falling apart from a war they can't sustain was the other (which failed miserably).
