I haven't read this series yet, or anything by Tillier so far, but I like her art a lot. Hopefully more later.
The smart mix of clear lines in the front and blurry objects with no outline in the background results in an amazing depth of field effect that seems to be increased even more by the differentiated lighting. I appreciate it a lot! I also like the Tarot card aesthetics of this piece. The snake looks quite friendly too, which is cool.
