Holy shit this is hard to watch.

So far, he's twice refused to answer the question.

biden sounds like shit, but hes got all the right words. hes made a few mistakes hes quickly fixed, but no giant mistakes and lots of details.

Biden stumbled and lost the tread in the opening minutes but is doing well now.

Trump is doing a good job at being Trump. Pretty tired of him ignoring the question and talking about whatever he likes and the moderator letting him.

Trump once again confirmed support for Isreal accelerating the genocide - if you think there's no difference between their policy on Palestine, you're arguing in bad faith.

The best way to watch it is huddled in a corner, crying.

What even is the point of this debate? They've both had a term in office. We know how both of them actually govern the actual country. What can this debate possibly convey that the past 8 years of governance hasn't?

Is it my imagination or are they moderators letting Trump go on while cutting Biden off most of the time?

I wish Biden would slow down, he's getting flustered and can't seem to find his words. Trump is just acting like it's a rally, saying whatever the hell he wants and making shit up. This is ridiculous.

Oh my god, Trump just said "I've never seen anybody lie like this guy" and he wasn't pointing at himself.

Trump claimed that his "Both sides" quote from Charlottesville was false... like, you're literally on tape asshat.

Holy fucked up choices.... Why, why, why can we not, with our vast knowledge and speed of passing information in our fancy futuristic world, do some ranked choice, or any other voting style, that would actually give us a choice we might feel we have opted for?

My mind wasn't changed on my choice I will have to make. But, wow, I feel like I might really be a responsible adult if this is what our chosen leaders look like in a live debate. I don't like this feeling. It's icky.

Trump still bragging about "acing" his cognitive test (the one he took to rule out dementia). Then had the gall to say "I'd like to see [Biden] take one".

Really wish Dark Brandon would have come out to play. "Woman, Man, Camera, Podium. There. That's what you keep bragging about"

The poor performance and miserable result of this debate is not an indicator the format is bad, it is an indictment of our media circus that has given us these candidates in the first place.

This is proof our system is fucked and I hope to god we don’t “fix” this by going back to letting opponents talk all over each other just to put on a good an entertaining show.

We stayed up to watch it here across the pond, made it to 10 minutes.

One hilarious take-away... Trump literally doesn't know what the opioid crisis is. He completely floundered trying to respond.

Biden was talking about "saving Israel" too. Despite the vast majority pissed at how he's handling it.

In the latest AP-NORC poll, nearly 6 in 10 Democrats disapprove of his approach to the conflict.

He's completely out of touch with what voters want. I have zero idea how anyone could think risking trump as president is worth giving an 82 year old we don't want another term in office.

Why are we running someone Dem voters actually want?

That 26% of people that approve of what he's doing with Israel is all US adults, including trump supporters. It's not even 26% of Dems...

So… There’s really going to be a second debate? I don’t know that I can take it.

Could we seal Biden in a germ-free bubble a week before the next debate? The last thing you want Biden sounding like is sickly - he had a cold today and COVID last time they debated in 2020.

Both are demented, but the election is about the whole executive branch and not just the specific buffoon at the top. That's what I've been telling myself anyway.

Why did anyone watch this debate? Were you expecting to learn something new? Are you on the fence and hoping this would help you make up your mind? I mean, the Trump people are going to vote for Trump, and the Biden people are going to vote for Biden, regardless, so it seems like a complete waste of time.

Beside preferring Trump or Biden, what the fuck Americans have with cadaver like people?, these both fuckers should be retired since like 10 years ago not kidding..
