I think quadriplegic people should be able to end their life if they so choose. This shouldn't be a controversial opinion at all.
- Yeah the article wants to make it about the bedsore, bit the guy is probably sick of being paralyzed
  
  Yep, and MAID is particularly useful in situations where one is physically unable to off themselves. Wanting someone who doesn't want to be around to remain trapped in that state is extremely cruel.

  How about we switch to ACTUAL public healthcare, not one where hospitals and doctors offices have to turn a profit delivering services at a price set by the government?

  No, that we get rid of maid specifically. Maybe review everything, but the tax paid healthcare seems to work as a whole. It just has a few issues that need to be addressed, just like any other system
- Generally through lack of funding, especially in areas like healthcare.
  
  There is more than enough funding for healthcare.
  
  Mismanagement of that money is the biggest problem and always has been.
