What are some of the best advice you received from Lemmy?
Be it a general life or lifestyle advice, a product recommendation or an unexpectedly good answer to a question post, regardless of whether it was directed to you or someone else
I'd like to make sure people understand doing nothing is doing nothing. Not scrolling on your phone. Not watching a movie. Take a moment to just sit and be there. Being bored is important for us
Yes! A pan is an option. Another option is on a tray in the oven, low heat. Another option and my preferred one is add some water to make a paste, and bake as clusters.
I would add to this to consider facts but context as well, facts can bring a misrepresented reality when they are presented as an argument without taking into account the whole background that produces them.
Today I learned on lemmy that trans people are the most hateful kind of people, had to block 30 of them today for calling me a bigot because they attack anyone and everyone even their own people, like fucking morons.. Advice learned, ignore trans people.
You consider that "the most hateful kind"? Internet responses, really?
Toughen up buttercup. Other people can run their mouth just as much as you. Don't be so fragile.
I looked up your comment history and saw the comment in question.
Changes in the anconym may not be meaningful to you. I don't keep up on it either, to be honest. But to the people it does include, it's very meaningful. I think this is one of those "put yourself in their shoes" type things. You shouldn't be dismissive.
I don't condone hateful replies towards you either. It doesn't help anything.
That's the problem with these people though, they can't put themselves in others shoes. They can't see past the end of their own nose to try and understand what life is like for someone else.
