For context, this was indeed a response on Snap, where they do not allow you to install deb files under the latest Ubuntu 24.04. Unless you use the command line, which of course I understand. Just run: apt install
<deb>
. However, my point is that an average Ubuntu user is now unable to easily install Deb files under Ubuntu, which is insane. Especially, because Ubuntu is build on top of Debian.
