Anyone find she’s posting a little less? That’s how little she has going on, she doesn’t even know what to post anymore even if it’s just garbage. She was typically good for FAR more stories than she’s had lately, whether mindless rambling or shilling links she was still posting a lot more. She’s still posting crap but just less stories of it.
She didn’t even post her little video today that she said she made yesterday for a company.
She may get opportunities but I can’t help but hope her instagram empire is crumbling.
It totally is. It's basically going around that influencers are done, especially ones that only post affiliate links. She's drying up and I'm here for it
She’s just busy shopping for her 10th Disney vacation in the last 3 years and having to unpack and repack that luggage is strenuous work. Get ready to be spammed with Mickey and all the gluten free food she can fire down so we all know she’s eating while showing up smaller and smaller on a daily basis. ✌️
June and July are typically a lot slower for influencers so I wonder if this is affecting her. I am honestly surprised that she hasn't jumped on to hawking Amazon shit to bring in more income because it would be extremely lucrative for her even with a couple of links per day. I personally hate Amazon with a passion and think it's a shady way to earn a living because it's all crap they share, I am just surprised she hasn't gone that way to bring in extra money.
I've never noticed her sharing much Amazon besides a sporadic link here and there. Maybe I'm just accustomed to seeing Amazon influencers sharing links all day long that it's not as noticeable from her when she puts one out 😂
I realize that we all have to somehow take part in capitalism and a lot of things people can only get by going to big box, stores, or Amazon, but I always think it’s a big win for the planet and a loss for billionaires when influencers post less about consuming. I never actually want influencers to over consume and thereby influence others yo do the same. I’ll give credit where credit is due and I hope this is a trend that continues and that all the other shine people also stop pushing everyone to buy all the time. Little victories for the planet are little victories am I right? We need less fast fashion (instead let’s support local and small and NO s&t isn’t small) , more activism (or even some activism like speaking up for Sudan, DRC and Palestine, and trans kids) and less trips (local shops need influencers to give them business to drive business). When I see even small changes I HOPE they are moving to being more authentic (I won’t get my hopes up too much but you never know). Calling people out on snarks is the only way they can see what people think and it’s necessary to demand more from people on platforms.
Oh I totally agree, but if we are being honest she really doesn't give a shit about the planet so I think the reasoning behind the lack of Amazon links is laziness since you need to be pushing them all day long for it to be profitable. She consumes constantly, just not via Amazon so I don't really consider it a win when it comes to her. Maybe if she was sharing ethical brands or ways to reduce consumption but she literally shops every single day for no other reason but to buy crap. I can't even fathom the amount of money she spends on garbage that just gets piled around her house. I'd love to see her branch out in a sustainable or activist direction but she is way too selfish to even consider that. I need to stop remembering she exists because she is taking too much of my thoughts lately.
Amazon’s Christmas in July is coming up so Shine is probably curating their storefronts and they aren’t pushing as much in the couple of weeks leading up to the big push. It’s cynical of me to think this but it makes sense
