I'm with the other dude. Your comment makes no sense, even after reading the article. You have spat out words without context as to what you're responding to, and without enough detail to infer it on our own. 🤷🏼♂️
I think they're trying to say that they're a PlayStation fanboy and one of those "gamers" that thinks exclusivity is a good thing/doesn't want the "Xbox/PC trash" playing "their" PlayStation games.
“You have to improve your odds by cracking the funnel open”…
Literally the subtitle.
The business is all about conversion. You have to improve your odds by cracking the funnel open. Helldivers 2 has shown that for PlayStation, coming out on PC at the same time. Again, you get that funnel wider. You get more people in
How do you think they're going to get people to move from PC to PS?
You know the people that copy-paste things into kickstarter to try to get a refund, or those old copy/past things people would put on their facebook walls about the ownership of their pictures or whatever?
Someone should repost his comments without attribution, remix them without indicating as such, and/or use them for commercial purposes. Then we wait and see if he tries to enforce the license.
It's a dumb point because there is no console that beats having a PC.
Are you seriously suggesting a handful of 40 hour single player experiences is worth sacrificing: full backwards compatability, emulation of all old consoles and games, Mods, games that can't be adapted to the limitations of consoles (grand strategy, certain MMO's), cheaper sales and key sites, as well as inevitably having access to the exclusives from all platforms
The only path for console developers to win over customers is through cheap hardware, which doesn't win over any PC users who have better rigs.
Your point is bad at making any real point. You basically just spoke around the topic then blamed everybody else for not understanding lmao.
They're not trying to do that? They're trying to make sure their games reach a wider audience. At this point consoles don't care about having you locked into their ecosystem, they've realized gamers gonna game regardless of platform, and most prefer PC.
So they're going to (hopefully) try to make sure they have their "exclusives" released on more consoles. You know, "crack open that funnel" and all.
Okay I've read the article. Your comment still makes no sense, whatsoever.
Are you saying you want to keep console exclusivity a thing, by making options available to both PC and PS users locked only to PS? Because that doesn't make sense, nor will it literally ever happen.
