3 1 ReplyWell for a raw performance the 40 might be a tiny bit better, but the lesser vram is probably more of an issue when gaming. And the price is just crazy

And I wonder if my 3070 could run it in games at an acceptable framerate...
2 0 ReplyWhile I am no expert I would assume that the 3070 should not have any issues on 4k.
However sth like starfield might have performance issues
2 0 ReplyIt is slightly below 4k, 2k and 120hz, the actual resolution doesn't worry me that much, but the framerate does...
Anyway, I do feel a bit cheated by nVidia as my GPU only got 8GB memory and the 4070 has 12...

It will depend on whether the games you play support dlss and frame gen and if you'd use those features.
