So the war, boycotts and sanctions were for nil?
I understand that not everything can be easily transitioned to renewables, but my gosh when sanctions started I stupidly thought in addition to throwing money at the war effort, we would throw money into energy independence through solar, wind, and renewables. We didn't, of course, so now we're back to square one, minus so many lives needlessly taken.
I remember people calling me an idiot and a Russian shill for saying this would happen only months ago 🤣
Peace negotiations were always going to be the outcome, as they are with almost all wars. All the stuff like the Russian economy collapsing, Ukraine's advance into Kursk forcing Russia to withdraw from Ukraine, Russia running out of troops etc. was always pie in the sky nonsense.
You don't have to be any kind of shill to see that. This predicted Russian defeat has not been forthcoming.
Sadly it took three years of a horrific war for the west to start realizing this.
