If you have a small bath you can use the bath tub or the shower or even the sink (with a wash cloth). No need to further cram the room - if there's any free space at all.

You guys have it all backwards. He shits in his washcloth and drops that in the sink, then goes into the shower with the washcloth.

Before showering quench and rinse the washcloth thoroughly. Really thoroughly.
