My reasoning is that the period is a "stronger" punctuation mark than the comma, and it should be used for the more important separation.

10 C = 50 F
20 C = 68 F
30 C = 86 F
40 C = 104 Fthey're all 18 degrees F apart since a C is 9/5 of an F
