We live in a capitalist society, "the mountain" is wealth, and the vast majority on the mountain were born there or got a lucky helicopter ride.
They didn't climb the mountain the hard way. Anyone that "climbed" it did so by having Sherpas (workers) carry them up for poor wages and none of the personal benefits for climbing the mountain
I get where you're coming from, and the class struggle is real, but....
It's a motivational meme. It's supposed to be, ya know, motivational. Like the name of the community it was posted in...
If you're going to look at it through one lens so you can poke holes in it, you're missing how else it can be applicable.
What if the mountain was chronic pain and this is in reference to exercising and eating right instead of sitting around taking pills? What if the mountain was furthering your education and this is in reference to studying hard and applying yourself rather than doing nothing and still expecting to pass your classes? What if the mountain was addiction and this is in reference to seeking treatment and finding motivation over continuing to self-medicate?
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying you went negative first and the whole point of this is positivity.
