frankly I don't understand how some people walk around without as much as acknowledging the ground
Well, after watching this, I won't make that mistake ever again.
I mean you should be able to assume no one shat on the floor
it could have been anything, dude would have never seen it.
I'm a veteran that came inches from stepping on UXO in Baghdad. I'm now very aware of where I step. Haven't stepped in dog poop in nearly 20 years.
As someone from the USA, spending enough time in Cuba taught me to not walk unless I can see the ground right in front of me. I noticed once after a trip. I was at Home Depot with a friend. We were looking for an item, and when we would look at the aisle signs, I would stop walking while they kept going.
I guess maybe people are used to having perfect floors in certain environments, so they walk as if nothing could be there.
