It's weird that I knew all this but it's way more chilling to have Harris' campaign tell us.
It's because you've gotten used to the Democrats running around with your fingers in the ears pretending that none of it's happening. The only time they seem to act on anything is when it's literally too late to do anything useful anymore.
No. To me it's because no other campaign going against Trump acknowledged any of trumps treasonous rhetoric and acted like it was just some silly goof they were going against. For 8 years they let this man lie and fire up a base and make every problem the American is facing the lefts fault. The news media ate it and doubled down. Now half of the Republicans thinks democrats are children eating demons and that they are the enemy destroying America. It didn't help that Biden's campaign was "I'm not the other guy" without bringing any substantive relief. Harris coming with receipts and bringing up the straight up treason from Trump's campaign is what needed to be happening day 1. Kamala's policy is going to be important, but right now the biggest danger to America's future isn't student debt relief or universal Healthcare. It's fascism. And we're there at fascism. The nazi party isn't going away. Burn it down, bring up how it does not belong in America, pacify the people by giving them substance to live and not be forced to raise a family in debt from grocery shopping.
They've realized that ignoring the face-eating-leopard doesn't work. Neither does giving it pets and the occasional soy-face.
