- What’s a game other people consider cozy that you do not?
I don’t have any such games, but I know that Stardew Valley is a game that’s pretty divisive with regards to how cozy it is. The vibes the graphics and music give off are cozy, but I know that for some the gameplay can be stressful even if they consciously try not to minmax.
- Tales Of The Shire Is A Cozy Lord Of The Rings Game Coming Next Yearwww.gameinformer.com Tales Of The Shire Is A Cozy Lord Of The Rings Game Coming Next Year
Live out your best hobbit life.
Article text:
Tales of the Shire is a cozy new game set in The Lord of the Rings universe and it's coming out sometime next year. Developed by Wētā Workshop, the New Zealand-based special effects and props company that worked on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, and published by Private Division, Tales of the Shire promises to let players live their best cozy Hobbit life.
Private Division revealed little about the game with its announcement yesterday, although it did release a teaser trailer that captures the vibes of living on The Shire. Check out the Tales of the Shire teaser trailer for yourself below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8X3psFrQd4
"Your cosy Hobbit life awaits in Tales of the Shire, a heart-warming new Lord of the Rings game by Wētā Workshop and Private Division," the teaser's YouTube description reads. "Coming 2024."
And that's all we know about the game. Here's hoping we learn more soon because it sounds like a great premise.
- Can you be a fairy or some other fae-type creature in Fae Farm? | No, you can’t
I think I heard someone mention something like this in real life, but I forgot who said it so I can’t ask them, and looking at the game’s website and Steam page description didn’t answer this question for me.
- What’s a game you consider cozy that others might not?
I think a lot of people agree with me on Minecraft being cozy, but some might not because of how prevalent combat is outside of Peaceful Mode. I personally find Minecraft cozy even off of Peaceful Mode, but this also might have to do with the fact that I usually play it with friends indoors, and I’ve done so on a rainy day with some hot cocoa and/or tea or something.
- Palia's PC Clsed Beta Began Today!
It's a really fun cozy MMO that has kept me addicted all week! To me it's a beautiful fusion between Stardew Valley and RuneScape.
Fishing, Farming, Woodcutting, Hunting, Mining, Cooking, even Furniture Crafting are all skills you can level to unlock new things to do associated with that activity. Along with all the socialising NPCs and romancing that Stardew has to offer. Such a great hook and gameplay loop that has me wholly absorbed.
- Nice Game Bundles om Humble and Fanatical
Humble Bundle currently has a Bundle with 8 cozy Steam games
I never played "Here Comes Niko", so I do not have any experience with that game.
But all the other games in this bundle I played already and they are all great! Humble Bundle lately had a few bundles with mediocre and bad games imho, but this bundle is honestly a very good deal if you have the money to spare.
Especially "Witchy Life Story", "Assemble with care", "Alba a wildlife adventure" and "A Short Hike" are truly amazing imho.
There are also two coupons. I think it's kind of sad they started to add coupons to bundles, but Haven Park I recommend as well. Don't know the other one.
Remember that you can buy this bundle with friends and share the keys! ╰(▔∀▔)╯
If you need help in how the sharing or Humble Bundle in general works, please leave a comment so we can explain how it's done.

There is another bundle with cozy games, this one is on Fanatical. The Link to the bundle on Fanatical
Fanatical may seem a bit suspicious, but apparently it's an official reseller of keys. At least I couldn't find anything bad about the site and I've used it in the past with no problems. Again, these are keys for Steam.
"Them's Fightin' Herds" is a fighting game with ponies drawn by Lauren Faust!
"Floppy Knights" is a turn-based strategy game with cards and a lovely protagonist and story.
"Garden Story" is an action RPG with a cute story and art.
"Kitaria Fables" is a farming game with cute art and a bit of hack&slash. The only game of that type that you can play in Coop, as far as I know (but only on the same PC).
If you only want to buy the smallest tier, I'd personally ditch Kitaria Fables because it sadly is a bit buggy and grindy at times.
If you need a 5th game I'd recommend Wall World! It's not cozy but rather stressful. :P A great game regardless.
- What are your go-to cozy games?
I'm new to the cozy gaming world, but it was love at first sight. Stardew was my first truly Cozy Game, but I recently started Cozy Grove (loving it!) and am about to try Sun Haven. I tried one called The Archipelago a couple months ago, but it got a bit repetitive and boring after a while. Breadsticks was cute, but I'm terrible at platformers.
So, I was wondering, what are some of your favorites?
- My Favorite Card from The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood Demo
I really enjoyed the card creation mechanic in The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood demo! It's detailed enough to provide room for personalization but not too complex to be overwhelming, and I'm excited to experiment with more visual combos when the full game comes out.
If you play or have played the demo, share your favorite card creation! I'd love to see them. :)
- The Nova game siblings!store.steampowered.com Save 10% on Nova Lands on Steam
Nova Lands is a factory building, exploration, and island management game. Explore, engage in combat, and automate your industry. The planet you’re on is full of mysteries, creatures, people, and things to do. Welcome to your new home amongst the stars!
Nova Lands has been released on Steam. It's a Sci-Fi builder with chill music and cute pixel style. !
I played the prologue Emilia's Mission, which is sadly not available anymore. :( But I thought the game was really fun.
It has a bit more depth to it than one might think from the looks of it. Since you can optimize the automatization of your crafting processes and use drones to do some work for you. A small warning: you can die in the game from a lack of oxygen and I think if you anger the bees too much they sting you.. a lot .. :D So it's not 100 % friendly.
There is also a game called Lost Nova, by the way, which is also a cute Sci-Fi game which costs a bit less and is not a builder, but an Open World Exploration game.
So don't confuse the two. ( “・ω・゙)

Just stumbled over this and it's apparently a completely free game where you can care for a Pixel Cat. It's hosted on itch.io, the developer is Loaf Labs.
This is the link to the game: https://loaflabs.itch.io/cat-cove-inn
Have fun!
- What was your first wholesome game?
The first game I ever played of the genre was probably Wandering Willows. It's quite old, release was in 2009. It was very different from all the other games I played up until then (which was mostly Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mortal Combat and the like xD).
You are stranded on an island and have to fulfill quests and help the villagers. As a companion you can catch various pets and level them. There is also farming and character customization.
- Wholesome Direct 2023 on Steam
You can find a lot of Free Demos for nice games on Steam at the moment! My favourite Demo is Go-Go Town.
- What's your preferred gaming platform?
Nearly all my gaming happens on my PC, with the majority of my game library hailing from Steam or Good Old Games (GoG). I've been eyeing a Nintendo Switch or perhaps a Steam Deck, though...
As for mobile games, I've yet to discover one that I like. :<
- The tough question: what is cozy?
What makes a game "cozy" for you? That special feeling you get, like you're wrapped in a warm blanket on a rainy day. It doesn't always have to be all rainbows and sunshine for me, although I love games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and Slime Rancher which definitely give off the cute vibes.
But it can also have a bit of a darker side. Take Night in the Woods for instance. Sure, it has its dark moments, but it still feels homey and familiar. And Spiritfarer. Anyone else feel the same way?
I think a warning might be good when recommending certain cozy games, but overall I still think those "darker" ones earn the title. Or should cozy mean absolutely only unicorns and flower patterns?
