Yes, the same conservatives who always complain about government red tape keeping anything from getting done and who also were offended by the government cutting through red tape and getting something done quickly when it was important.

Thanks to all who answered, I will go for it because my body is mostly microplastics at this point anyway.

I don't think there's any educational value to what he's doing because he's one person, just a single data point. We can't generalize from that, we do experiments in a controlled way on many more people.

It's also a thing that Russia was rarely the villain in the Bond movies, It was usually Spectre or when it was a Russian it was some Russian guy going rogue and not acting in Russia's interests.

The top 5 Bond movies by IMDB rating are Casino Royale, Skyfall, Goldfinger, No Time to Die, From Russia With Love. And Spectre is the villain in the latter. So is it really not possible to make a good Bond film without Russia?

Oh I'm sure "a movie can't be good unless it makes the people I hate the bad guys" is a thing, it's just shitheaded.

People aren't ideologues. They're not leaving Twitter because it's for-profit, they're leaving because it sucks.

It's not a coherent argument, people just don't like paying rent so they lash out in frustration. If you can't own you have to rent, if you have to rent you have to rent from someone. It's just a fact of life. Just like food is also a requirement to live and you need to pay someone for that too if you're not self sufficient. There's good people selling food and bad people selling food. It would be dumb to consider all food merchants evil in principle just as it's dumb to consider all landlords evil in principle.

You transport yourself to the store, walk around the store, pick the items up off the shelf, take them around the store, take them with you to checkout, take them to your car, bring them into your house, and put them away. But moving the item 36 inches from your basket to your bag is something you're too enfeebled or important to do yourself?

This is an amazing game for just hanging out in all the locations of the whole trilogy, if the universe appeals to you. It's the first game I 100%-ed in years. The silly tasks and puzzles were simple but they were a great excuse to hang out in that world.

Google sucks, but Apple sucks too. And if you hate them both, Android is the better choice for a smartphone because you can use it with minimal interaction with Google whereas any Apple device firmly has you in the Apple ecosystem.

I enjoyed Twitter for a long time when it was smaller and ad free and didn't suck, and now I'm enjoying Bluesky while it's smaller and ad free and doesn't suck.

It's unlikely Bluesky could ever suck as much as Twitter and Reddit have come to suck, but if I have to leave Bluesky in a few years for the next one, then so be it.

If you're one color and you're living in a culture where you're surrounded by a majority of people of a different color who don't treat you as one of them, then you're going to identify more with the community of your own color.

Good thing you're not judging. If it was the passive aggressive criticism it looks like on the surface, it might contribute to this very topic of people feeling safer keeping to themselves than speaking freely and saying the wrong words.
