Tears of the kingdom runs worse than BOTW. The game feels like it's running at 15fps when anything remotely complex is happening. It's running on a phone processor though so the performance is forgivable.
Nintendo usually doesn't do the right thing, but they kept the wii shop working for around 15 years after the console released, which seems reasonable enough, though for how much hosting costs they should still be offering downloads. IIRC you could store downloaded games on an SD cars so you could make a backup. Now the WiiU and 3DS, their online stuff shuttered too early. If I had bought Mariokart 8 digitally for my WiiU and wanted to redownload it, I would be unable, yet Nindendo still sells the same game on their newer switch store. The only Nintendo games I can say I own are the ones decrypted on my NAS that work with FOSS emulators.
As you've probably heard, it's basically just NVidia with shitty drivers. They are getting better but are not included in many distros (they can usually be added through the package manager pretty easily) since they are proprietary. Intel and AMD generally work out of the box for gaming. NVidia drivers are bad enough that I sold my 2060 for an ARC a750 just because of the drivers lol.
The high schools in my city have dedicated city bus routes that transport most of the students. All students who live more than about 1km away get a city bus pass for the year, which means the school transport can be pretty flexible. This is in Canada btw. Many of the people who opt to drive instead either cone from far away because of certain programs at the school or are just privelidged af.
IIRC in my area kids can legally ride on sidewalks which makes sense.
My entire project was smaller than that panel mount connector since my project was adding usb-c to my 3DS. Every millimeter counted.
I had a project that used usb-c along with the appropriate resistors for usb-PD and while soldering the resistors would have been doable, for the port I caved in and got it assembled for me.

Depending on the use, you may be able to spin then down when not in use, but that's not always possible for some applications.

I've looked into getting these magnetic connectors for some of my devices but I've seen to many horror stories online about electrical damage caused by these cables. Seems worth it just to stick to plain connectors.
