The trick is to get into the habit of doing it for anything. Strange car you've never seen before? Pinch. You've been gaming for 3 hours when it felt like 15 minutes? Pinch. You see the same girl 3 times in one day? Thats a pinching.
Just last night I had the pissdrawer dream. I was at a friend's house for a small, smart-casual suburban yuppie housewarming. Didn't know where the toilet was, immediately tried pissing in the sideboard drawer in front of everyone. Because thats how that worked. Got kicked out of the party quite quick but was pretty annoyed because everyone just uses the drawer sometimes right? Its no big deal.
I don't know if he went worldwide or if he's just a British thing, but Lewis Capaldi is the worst offender for this in my mind. There was about 3 months where Somebody You Loved wasn't being played by at least 2 stations at a time. 2 or 3 times an hour, every hour, every station, every day.
It was a great song the first 5 times. The next 5000 not so much.
Games that are paid for with cosmetics are fine imo. I will never, ever, not once buy a virtual hat for any amount of money. That said, if a game wants to be free and provide consistent updates, and morons riding the meme-train want to subsidise me, that's just gravy.
Im shocked and appalled that game companies think people are stupid enough to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on pretend clothes and I'm exactly as shocked and appalled that they're right.
If games want to be free to play, but suddenly im coming up against a guy thats basically invincible because he spent real money, im out.
Ive not got round to getting a dedicated tool box yet, so I get to find them in unexpected inconvenient places every week until I need them then they disappear forever.
Probably that. Im mid 30s, UK, and have never seen a Polaroid in my life. Ive seen 2 people with polaroids on their bedroom walls, but never seen a camera except on TV.
To my mind they're only used to show "look, its the 80s! Its a scene set in the past!" Or "look how quirky the indie hipster kid in this scene is!"
This is actually a really good idea. The people that want these kinda games are either underage horndogs on their parents computer, or able to use crypto.
I think we can at least say that if they ended up in front of a judge about it, the receiver might not have enjoyed it quite as much as the 60 page legal contract suggested.
