Y'all know that Ready Player One was a DYS-topia right guys?
Our claim we got all up front but that is all good info to know. Thanks!

Just had our roof and siding redone after hail damage. We were told that the exterior insulation built into the siding was minimal and not worth the extra cost for the benefit. If you already have it and it just needs repaired that's a different story.
From what we could tell, the main difference between exterior contractors was the brand of shingles and siding they use and how they structure their quotes. The job is pretty much the job other than if you choose to do different types of siding on different parts of the house.
We chose our contractor based on someone else we know that had good experience with them and them being local to us in case we had any issues or wanted to make a warranty claim (they offered a 5 year workmanship guarantee). Pretty much all roofing people also do siding. Most do windows too. Our guy did windows, roofing, siding, insulation and gutters despite only having "roof" in his business name.
Just get 3 quotes and see who you like. Also, if you are doing anything through an insurance company, DO NOT sign anything from an exterior contractor to let them negotiate with the insurance company on your behalf. If they came door to door, that's often something they will ask for. Just assume that most of those door-to-door folks are in the same category as ambulance-chasing lawyers and don't trust them at all.
Also, if you are going through insurance and the contractor wants to see your claim, remove all dollar amounts from the claim before you share it. Let them give a quote based on what they value the job at rather than based on how much money they know for a fact you have.
Also also, it's illegal in a lot of jurisdictions, if not all, for a contractor to tell you that they will reimburse or refund the amount of an insurance deductible if you make a claim or if you choose them to do the work. So if any of them said that it's immediately shady if not downright illegal.
Obviously they didn't listen to this guy.
They probably love their mother in law.
Second these. I also love her video about RoboCop as an allegory for the transgender experience.
Connected a Samsung smart TV to my network when we first got it. The thing damn-near crashed my pi-hole asking for so many ad/tracking domains. Factory reset it later that same day. I think my % of requests blocked went from 15% to 68% in just the 3 hours or so the Smart TV was connected.
I'm not against expandable storage at all, I wish more phones did have it as an option to be clear.
I am curious what exactly is going on these SD cards that everyone wants though. I personally haven't gotten close to my storage limit since the default internal memory was 32GB.
My dad used to have a phone what had a legitimate micro-hdmi output on it. I can't remember the exact model Some kind of DROID I think.
Edit It was the DROID X.
For a while I had one of those jack inserts that was a micro-usb that had a mag-safe type of charging cable that went with it. It was cool but I always had to keep my own cable with me or id have to remove the little dongle thing and it would get lost.
Telephoto seems like something Google could do to really set the next Pixel Xa series apart from the competition. If they care to that is.
I have maintained for a while that if phones came with 2 USB ports instead of just 1 you could have your cake and eat it too. My biggest gripe with the lack of a headphone jack is that I can't charge my phone and listen at the same time. 2 ports, one on each side for right and left handed people to pick their favorite charging location and you get a ton of other options for peripherals that way.
From what I remember, the M9 had some issues with processor overheating and didn't live up to the M8 legacy. Id love to see a tablet with a proper kickstand come back around. I got a first generation Microsoft Surface when I went to college and the kickstand on it just wasn't good. Plus the battery life was awful. I ended up selling it and just buying a regular laptop. That Yoga sounds like what I wished the Surface would have been.
I know it's not the same thing but the new flip phones from Motorola and Samsung have 4-ish inch screens on the front. You can run all your apps on the front screen too.
I also have had trouble during upgrades in the past.
I'll have to disagree about the purple and orange theme though. I'm personally a big fan.

In the Beginning is an anime that follows the Christian old testament up through the birth of Jesus.
There's also Superbook about 2 kids and a robot who time travel to bible times get involved in the biblical events.
Solok woke up the day he went to DS9 and chose all the violence that logic would allow.
There is a quote from Winston Churchill that says "if you are going through hell, keep going." as in, the only way out of a bad situation is to move forward.
My grandpa always used to say that "you can't jump in puddles unless it's a rainy day" as a way to say a bad situation comes with its own opportunities or upsides (as in bad weather sucks but at least you can have fun jumping in the puddles).
Hope everything works out for you all. I always appreciate a card from someone no matter the situation.
Not really sure what Firefox is up to a lot of times. But the Thunderbird's team is really active and receptive right now. They are updating and revamping a ton lately.
Analogue is doing the lord's work. Software is easy to copy infinite times but hardware isn't prevalent or going to last forever.
I hope someday things like this will end up at a more commodity price
