You can't know for sure given only this footage. But drones don't exactly have great armor. So detonating something so close makes a kill very likely.

The author may or may not be concerned about the affordability of homes. But that's a different issue. This is just about absolute prices. And low prices mean low interest in Germany. As the article says, people are interested more in London or Paris.

The problem is, that the studies on glyphosat are way too small. As far as I know it is not particularly cancerous. That is other weed killers are worse. But Monsanto who did these studies and Bayer who bought Monsanto and miscalculated the risks; they did a poor job with these studies, which caused this massive confusion and are therefore largely to blame themselves for the disaster.

This btw. is how it works. You have a product you want to bring to the market, so you have to prove it's safe. It's the regulator's job to decided if the provided evidence is enough.

Yeah, I tried to understand what's going on, but it's not easy to wade through all the propaganda. And at this point I don't really care anymore. It looks like the congress was shut down because of a video by a guy named Salman Abu Sitta, who is considered an extremist by German authorities. Now they prevented this (other?) guy, Abu Sittah from entering. Could this be a mix-up? Who knows.

Dann vergiss aber nicht die Entropie. Ein Prozessor von vor 50 Jahren hat die gleichen Ressourcen benötigt, wie ein heutiger. Aber mit 6 µm Fertigung war die Entropie noch größer, also heute mit 3 nm. Die daraus resultierende Steigerung in Rechenleistung ist auch Wirtschaftswachstum.

Sorry, ich bin mir nicht sicher, was du mir damit sagen möchtest. Ich vermute dein zentraler Punkt ist der hier:

Und ich glaube das ist falsch. Die Wirtschaft ist kein Nullsummenspiel. Die Marktwirtschaft ist extrem gut darin Wohlstand zu schaffen. Natürlich kommt es dabei auch zu unfairer Bereicherung auf Kosten anderer. Aber in einem guten System würde man das verbieten und bekämpfen. Nur passiert das nicht in jedem Bereich. Beispiel: Umweltzerstörung ist oft legal und wird sogar gefördert. Aber das ist ein rein politisches Problem.

Ich kann die Skepsis an der Marktwirtschaft nicht verstehen. Und Stöcker argumentiert an mehreren Stellen, was wir falsch machen. Z. B.: Diejenigen, die Schäden verursachen, müssen nicht dafür aufkommen. Darüberhinaus subventionieren wir fossile massiv, etc.

Es ist doch klar, dass die Marktwirtschaft ein extrem mächtiges Werkzeug ist. Nur die Parameter, mit welchen wir sie betreiben sind auf Zerstörung getrimmt. Da darf man sich dann auch nicht wundern, wenn sie die Welt zerstört.

If I remember correctly, the gist is that Russia can keep this up for a while, but the quality of the equipment is going down, not up. And in two years or so they will run out.
