The witness is a really interesting puzzle game that can be had for not that much.
Or if you are looking for something more actiony then I would recommend remnant: from the ashes or remnant 2. Described as souls like with guns, but they really change up the formula I found with semi random worlds and bosses.
If you only need it to skip the power outage, I would look at something in the range of 800W to 1000W in an online ups.
This wattage should run your devices for 5 minutes or so, as you have quoted them. The online UPS will always run its load off on the battery, so there is no swap over time. Other types will be fine for a PC or normal electronics, but the hitch in power could cause a defect in the 3D print.
This is absolutely the correct information. I sold UPSs for years and the general consensus is that if you want more than 5 to 10 minutes of power, then you want to go with an actual generator solution
Saying that, UPSs tend to be used in industrial environments to keep machinery running until the generator starts up and can accept the load.
Holy shit, I have not heard that name in many years. Definitely a +1 for reminding me of all the fun I used to have in this title
This is an instant sign for me.
I just wish they would release the server source when done with a game. At least then someone could hack it to work.
Make a shitty live service game and people are going to think it's shit.
I don't understand why this is surprising to execs...
Absolutely this, the crafting system is a great balance of getting what you want but also giving you something to try again and again for.
Basically that and the talent trees inside skills sold me on this game.
Missed last epoch 🙂
This exactly my feelings too. Keep treating people nicely, but you see enough shit every day to make you not like people in general
For lighting, I would personally avoid smart bulbs, especially if you are redoing the apartment anyway.
All they lead to from my experience are annoyances when guests/partners inevitably flick a switch and turn off the smart bulb.
I live in Australia so the spec may be different from where you are, but I have found ZigBee to work amazingly.
In competitive games, as you pointed out, it doesn't really. Usually they end up with controller only servers.
In a co-op game it doesn't really matter that much. I would argue it's more about the movement than the shooting anyway.
How is this a support question? It's asking lemmy users what are good communities for conversation
Factorio has cool, and very customisable, procedurally generated maps. The ore distribution, quantity, biters, cliffs, water, all change game to game.
