i'm confused why do people keep setting themselves on fire when the economy is doing so great??? are they populists/authoritarians/antisemitic?

how do liberals not understand that we see them as every bit as genocidal, bloodthirsty, duplicitous and imperialist as Trump and the repubs? why do they keep calling themselves the "lesser evil"?
