  • lol at the 5 misogynists downvotes.

Using gendered language, such as "known to man," is outdated and overlooks the contributions of individuals who don't identify as men. It's not just about being politically correct; it's about being accurate and inclusive. Language shapes our perception of reality, and by using more inclusive language, we acknowledge and respect the diversity of contributions across all genders. Calling this out isn't about policing language for the sake of it; it's about moving towards a society that values everyone's contributions equally. Let's push for language that includes everyone, reflecting the true diversity of human achievement.

  • It should be noted it's comparing the claim vs the cars actual co2 output, which for PHEV is laughably incorrect in real world use. I'm amazed a class action hasn't been made againts these car companies. They knew what they were doing and its nothing short of environmental terrorism levels of deceit.

That said, Plug in hybrids are still 'better' than petrol or diesil cars for overall emissions. The title makes out they're worse. Which is untrue.

  • surely nestle and coke are using orders of magnitude more. Also don't many Americans drink bottled water when tap water is completely fine in most areas? I read somewhere it was a weird cultural quirk, you know like refusing to use the metric system. I'm not saying shouldn't check AIs footprint, but water seems a werid one to go after.

  • Eating healthily contributes to overall well-being and can reduce the risk of many diseases, including some cancers. However, it's not a foolproof protection. Genetic factors and environmental exposures also play significant roles in cancer risk. It seemed from your initial statement as if you believed a healthy diet could make one immune to cancer, leading to the reactions you received. .
