  • Survival is not easy no matter how you slice it. Without modern technology our life spans would be 30-50 years old if that. Today is the much easier to survive than back in the early settler days. People just don’t realize how great we have it compared to our ancestors. I get that some have it harder than others in today’s society. They will never have it as hard as 1600s living conditions.

  • Seriously, look at history. Villagers bonded together for survival. Then merchants/ trades started happening between tribes. Each person had an assigned task/job in the tribe. So everyday before sunrise hunters would hunt until sunset. The gathers would gather and prepare meals. They did to survive not for $$. So do you want to live the survival lifestyle or today’s posh lifestyle is real question.

  • My question is what power does this court have concerning action? Sure they can issue opinion but so can numerous others in scientific community.

  • Move to remote island build your house by hand. Then live that lifestyle no electricity or running water. No modern technology or medicine. You can gather and hunt for food. Then you are only working to survive like the ancestors. This is easy to say but doing is entirely a different vibe.

  • Tariffs are to bring manufacturing back to the US. Look at how many companies are dropping Billions to open factories. That provides employment for building those factories and employment for locals who live in area.

  • I started buying more of what I want as I get older. I also have experienced death of an immediate family member. So this puts things in perspective for me. I ask the question how much time do I have left? Is this the right time for me to buy something I just want versus need?

More of my perspective reasoning. I have a chronic illness and it will progress and has already. So I don’t know what a month or year will be for me. I need to accomplish what I can while I can.

Ultimately not all wants will be acquired. Some are fleeting thoughts of maybe another life. I have a rule about electronics. Do not buy electronics or vehicles that are just released. The chances are they will have problems. Let others testing them first so corrections can happen. Then buy the items when on sale and hopefully bugs are worked out. Video games can apply to this logic as well.

  • Interesting. Of course Russia and China do this all the time.

  • It would better to say “Sir you’re missing an arm. Can I give you a hand?” Then starts clapping in next panel. Lol

  • Not sure if being autistic matters in this instance. My wife will not eat grits due to texture but I do enjoy some buttery grits.

  • They were limited by the ignorance of their time. …….Or whatever Tony Starks dad said.

  • Thanks!

  • PFM? Pure Fucking Magic. Dammit guess I will never know.

  • Very nice let’s see Paul Allen’s rules in life.

Paul Allen pulls out a joint lights it.

    1. Smoke weed everyday.
  • How did you post image?

  • Thank you!

  • Hate to break it to you like this but US has both Capitalism and Social programs. Social programs are social security, medicare and public schools.

  • Neither system is perfect. Pure capitalism can lead to inequality and under-provided public services, while pure socialism can stifle innovation and create inefficiency. The best-performing countries today typically combine elements of both.

So as anything in life too much of one thing can be bad. It would be nice for everyone to receive free healthcare and higher education in US. I often watch various global news networks. It is odd to see US, Canada, UK all struggling with same issues economically.

UK has 28 million people on assistance out of work. It also has 28 million people employed. So half the UK is paying to support the other half. That is wild to think about.

Canada has a housing crisis currently.

  • This lady was like, I finally get to ask the chicken why it crossed the road. Then this dude comes and takes it out!
