Pro-Trump Georgia election board changes rules 45 days before election
  • It was about Hanging Chads. Basically it was vote by hole punch and sometimes the paper wasn't punched all the way (Hanging Chad) so the vote wasn't counted correctly by machines.

These can be counted by manual recounts which clearly show the intent.

Supreme Court decided not to count fully perforated punch holes which gave the election to Bush.

  • Matt Gaetz Was at Sex and Drugs Party With High School Junior: Docs
  • Thst title makes it seem like he went to a sex party and an underage person happened to sneak in. At least the article mentions testimony of gaetz paying specifically to have sex with (probably can be considered rape but article doesn't use it so I'm not going to either) the 17 year old.

  • Microsoft releases a new Windows app called Windows App for running Windows apps
  • I use RDP app today to log on to my Pc remotely by using vpn to my home network. It looks like they are adding bloat for services that I have zero interest in. Or maybe they are adding authentication services so the vpn wouldn't be necessary.

  • Republicans love DEI
  • Or they can keep the current amount of reps but weigh the reps vote based on number of constituents they represent. If Alice is representing 50k people and Bob is representing 10k people then Alice's vote should be weighted 5x times.

  • The Plucky Squire recently came out, and used the Steam Deck to represent PC
  • I think it's more so that it's releasing on steam, Deck/GabeN is more a representation of that. In your case you can buy once and install on both. The image also has the added benefit to show its steam deck compatible.

  • Pennsylvania governor denied drink purchase after forgetting to bring ID
  • I worked wirh someone that got fired by a secret shopper they didn't card. They got their job back after appeal because the secret shopper that was 30ish looked like she was 50. The secret shopper was let go because they had an abnormally high audit failure due to how old she looked.

  • Harris wants to end subminimum wages for disabled workers—if they're not behind bars
  • Look I do not agree with for profit prisons. I'm not defending it. I'm just stating facts. You can try to convince the 6-3 conservative majority supreme court that the 13th amendment needs to reinterpreted, see how far that takes you.

  • What is something you SHOULD cheap out on?
  • This is a miopic viewpoint. It may be good enough for you but not everyone's gums/teeth are the same. Some people are predisposed to gum disease and using a good electric toothbrush helps immensely.

  • Trump says he’s accepted rules for September 10 debate, which include muted mics
  • I don't think the Harris campaign cared either way. They just pressure the Mic thing move the narrative to the Mic instead of whether the debate was even happening or not. I literally use the same technique on my toddler. Just give him an option about a detail of something I want him to do but don't give him the option about the act itself.

  • Found this while cleaning my house. [SOLVED]

I have no idea what it is for but it had battery still left in it and a micro USB slot. Wife has not clue what it is either. Not sure if a random guest left it or my toddler picked it up.

    Twitter locked behind login page.

So today I clicked a twitter link because companies like to use it for official announcements, only to be greeted with a login page. Was annoyed then I remembered nitter exists. It just prompted me to install Privacy Redirect which I should have done ages ago.

    Github: https://github.com/SimonBrazell/privacy-redirect

    Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-redirect/pmcmeagblkinmogikoikkdjiligflglb/related

    Firefox Browser Add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/privacy-redirect/

Looks like twitter waited for the reddit API changes to do push this change to try to do it under the radar.
