  • Yamcha was about as strong as Radditz by the time Nappa and Vegeta showed up. Piccolo was strong enough to blow up the moon when he was at that power level. In the afterlife, he went on to train with King Kai so he probably powered up a bit after that.

  • Every succdem I know has become a Nazi apologist over the last 20 months. Literally every single one. I mean, if you’re a 25 year old SPD member, you’re a fucking idiot anyway but I thought that at the very least we had opposition to Nazis and condemnation of the collaborators of the third reich in common. And I was fucking wrong. Two years ago, I thought Stalin’s quote was primarily applicable to the situation in Germany in the 20s and 30s or to the conflict with the SRs in 1917/1925. Regrettably, I have come to learn that it is an evergreen quote and applicable to every crisis of capitalism, especially when an external enemy can be conjured up.

The only takeaway I have from all this is that the only principled opposition to fascism is and has always been communism. And considering the state of communism in the west combined with the permanent heightening of class contradictions, I do truly worry about a full resurgence of European fascism.

  • I don’t think the DPRK wants to give an opportunity to basically any country in the world to plant spies. Considering the US used visits of the Atomic Energy Commission to infiltrate the DPRK in the 90s, welcoming thousands and thousands of difficult to vet corporate reps sounds like an open invitation for infiltration.
