I was talking to a young Palestinian male in Dearborn, MI which has been targeted by the GOP as a place where Trump/GOP can pick up votes to win Michigan. This guy said he liked Trump, “because he’s funny”. I asked him if that is really what he’s looking for in a president, a comedian. No answer. I asked him if he liked Trump’s SCOTUS and other court picks. No answer. And is he really funny: migrants fighting, shithole countries, etc?
