  • If you want to start up an old struggle session you can do so in the original struggle session thread, standing on the bodies of the comrades who have been banned before you, 1423 comments deep in one particular hyper specific example of a time when "rock stacking" was actually good for the environment (rock stacking having been defined here to mean the creation of barrier walls to prevent erosion caused by modern farming techniques)

I could get so fucking pedantic please let me have this

  • It's a strange notion that double posting is considered poor form in the first place. What if I have two unrelated things to say? Doesn't it make more sense to split those ideas into two posts?

Honestly who would care if I replied to a post 11 times with 11 different unrelated ideas?
Parallel, asyncronous communication is a thing to be embraced, and I would go so far as to say that we should just have massive mega posts years old and thousands of comments long about common topics instead of starting new ones whenever we have something new to add.

  • I don't have anything to back this take up with exactly, besides working in a teaching environment, but I think most of the concerns liberals pose about "reeducation" are kinda not possible. In an educational environment you're just basically telling people things. You can't change someone so easily as that.

You can show them that the basis of their ideas is false, you can teach them new things, but when it comes to unhinged anti wokeness or whatever those kind of brain worms are a network effect and you couldn't individualize a reeducation camp to implant them.

When it comes to the shitty things Americans like myself learned in school like how (insert group of people) were savages until we taught them how to think good or whatever, that's just hooking into existing brain worms.

So my takeaway is we should stop fearing the reeducation because it can't hurt it can only help.

  • It's very easy to say this, because it means you can just reject any evidence to the contrary as "not good" or "biased".

Accusations of genocide aren't a fucking game. It's either happening or it isn't. Either the evidence is good or the evidence is bad (and all evidence is biased) So give us some good evidence.

  • Pretend all you want that you're "just asking questions"
That's pretty much exactly the same as the Israeli line

    vibes of a genocide denier

    doesn't change facts.

What facts! I'm still waiting for one. We can go round and round all day but until you show me something to center this on it'll be a waste of time. In 30 years even your ABC will quietly walk back their claims of genocide and I hope when that happens you will tell the people around you not to trust the same sources that lied to you.

  • You see that's kind of where the problem is. You can say there's a genocide and I can say "where" and that gives me the vibe of a genocide denier. I've looked for evidence, I've asked for evidence, but the best I've ever gotten is a satellite image of some prison in China, some (AI padded) mugshots with no context, and some thorough browbeating by very serious liberals.

Let me put this another way. I'm of Jewish descent. My great aunt was in a camp. I'm not trying to "deny" any genocides, but what should my standard of evidence be? Particularly when there is a clear incentive for western media to create false narratives about their enemies, and have done so before?

If you have something to present that I haven't seen, I and the other "tankies" are wide open to engage with it.

  • Should this be allowed

That a known pedophile should have been given free reign to keep sex trafficking and in fact be given so much power and wealth that he could even theoretically have done this? Yeah it's kinda fucked up that we let it happen.

Google is pushing for websites to implement this software that talks to your TPM (trusted platform) chip on your computer and has it attest to the state of your web stack. Then, the website gets to decide if that's okay and can deny you access if there's any "funny business" such as ad blockers installed, or you're using a browser they don't like, or maybe even running an os they don't like. We'll almost certainly find ways around it for a while, but it's going to get better (for them, worse for you)
