What annoys you?
  • Workwise:

    1. Do not make a 30 minute meeting with me if it can expressed in a few sentences via email.

    2. If you are trying to rely information to me via email, keep it simple. No need to write a novel to essentially tell me the new data will go in production next Wednesday - just say what's happening and when. 1 sentence.

  • Fans of Pokémon-inspired MMO Temtem are arguing with the developer about what MMO means after Crema CEO says it's 'not feasible' to keep adding content forever
  • I just started playing with 2 friends. I'm not too upset there won't be more content (though I know that going in unlike the OG players). What really bothers me is there are easy updates they can make to create a better user experience. The UI doesn't feel crisp & the animations can be sped up (or skipped) for starters.

  • How do you push through a book you aren't enjoying?
  • I'm reading the 3rd book in the Mistborn series and I'm about 2/3rds done and am struggling. I just find the characters flat, but my friend keeps telling me to just finish it so the "better books" in the Sanderson universe will make sense. Ugh.

  • Sometimes my brain feels like it's stuck in a loop

I ran a meeting today and it didn't go as well as I had hoped. My video was delayed from what I was saying, was just overall more nervous than I had hoped to be which than caused me to rush (which didn't help at all with the video delay).

I know logically I should just take this as a learning situation and do better next time. But I can't stop thinking about it. I know I'm going to go to bed tonight and think about all the things I could've done better and not get any sleep.

How do people "change the channel" in their heads?

    Crazy cucumbers

Very new to gardening. Very happy my garden hasn't died with all the crazy rain we're getting here!

Any friendly advice for these crazy cucumbers? They keep expanding! (2 squash on the right, 4 cucumbers to the left of them, then lettuce). Definitely going to give everything more room next year.

    Rotten squash question

Last year I started a garden for the first time. Learned a lot! When I picked my squash last year it seemed fine, then I kept it on my counter for maybe a week before I noticed a small rotten spot on the underside. Eventually the rotten spot grew and I just composted the whole squash.

Not sure what went wrong. Was thinking -should I put hay or something under my squash when it starts to grow on the dirt?
