I do the same. I subscribe to the slower communities, and browse All usually. Voyager has a setting to hide subscribed communities from All, so they don't inadvertantly get marked as read, which I periodically hide.
Stingrays are dangerous, but they don't even need them. In the US our cellular providers are directly accessible by the government without a warrant or probable cause. They get IMSI logs immediately, and they can triangulate off of that alone. This is far worse than a device which anyone could detect using software on their phone.
Stingrays were used extensively by the US in the middle east for service disruption (jamming bombs triggered by cellular) and for targeted assassinations (our missiles lock directly onto the cellphone after the target is identified). Fun stuff! Coming to a place near you!
True. But only if you dedicate most of your attention to comprehension. Listening to books while working is bound to make you miss details. I listen while driving and walking, and even that is distracting enough to make me have to rewind occasionally.
You can make your own processor, it might just be a little (!) less powerful than what you're used to.
I know the point is PRIVACY, but I believe if we put effort toward it, these obstacles can be overcome. Then we can move closer to full privacy on our computers/phones.
At work, you're better off being a procrastinator or just generally slow. If you're fast and reactive, you'll be called lazy when you're sitting there with nothing left to do 😤
