They pulled a bunch of emergency levers then to stabilize the ruble (and the economy as a whole). Thing is, emergency levers are emergency levers. You can't just keep pulling them. It's been predicted for a while that Russia would not be able to prop up its economy forever.
Holy crap, I was just reading his Wikipedia page. He is such a piece of shit. His wife died of cancer in May 1968. Her doctor had told him, not her, of the diagnosis in 1961 and he kept it secret from her. I knew about the segregation stuff, but that is just the shit frosting on the shit cake.
I'll echo the issues with too much water pressure on really cheap bidets. My first one was like a butt hole pressure washer. My second one was more expensive with a tank at the back. Unfortunately, that combined with a rounded toilet didn't leave enough space for sitting. The ones I have now are all Tooshies. I got the ones that can combine hot and cold water, but I only have a hot water hookup for one because I would need to poke holes.
That said, threatening people is illegal all on its own, so who knows…
Not necessarily. If it's just a political threat, that's fine. And like a lot of what Trump says, this is just borderline enough to not explicitly threaten physical violence to the point of criminality. It really needs the witness tampering to become criminal. If he says that he will cause political consequences if Jeff Duncan testifies, that would let the prosecution slap witness tampering on to the rest of the case. Hell, he could be convicted on that alone.
If you have access to one, it's worth learning how to. The longer you wait, the more difficult it is to learn. 35 is by no means too late (I'm 36 without a license), but it's also worth not waiting much more.
Despite certain groups in the US doing their best to drag their heels, the transition is inevitable. Much of it flies under the radar, driven by people who are wary of anything that could be perceived by the public as threatening entrenched fossil fuel interests.
I don't have a car but I could afford one. It's getting more and more tempting to get one. My husband and I are our mid 30's and we all too often rely on friends and family for a lift. It feels likes like we're not so much car free as carless.
But no seriously, if he's warned and he still does it, he needs to finally have consequences. He has never, ever faced real consequences for his misdeeds.
Right, my point was that his threats were not criminal due to being political threats alone, but due to being associated with testifying.
