  • I've been trying to move away from email as a document server.

Anything that's important / I might want to reference later gets exported to a secure paperless-ngx instance where it's neatly categorized and easily searched. I then delete it from my inbox.

  • I love the listicles feature. Not because I want to actually look at those results but because they're all stripped out of the main search. Doing product research is so much better without all those low-quality "top whatever 2023" lists that take up the first 3 pages of google lol

  • There are a lot of options: Bitcoin & Bitcoin lightning via opennode + Paypal, Venmo, iDeal, giropay, & stripe.

Personally I converted some XMR to BTC then paid with that (using a single-use wallet)

  • By default just did a video (piped link) on this and I 100% agree with him. The killer feature is simplelogin. Being able to use a different alias email for every single account I use is absolutely amazing.

  • I don't volunteer either piece of information, but sooner or later someone is going to overhear me ordering vegan food or see me opening my lunch and the dreaded conversation will have to happen. I wish people would just let me make my own food choices in private without making a big thing about it.

  • Came here say this. Absolutely agree. Being able to reduce background noise is huge.

As a side point - having a car that's quiet has really allowed me to enjoy music at a much more reasonable level when driving as well.

  • He's just kind of a jerk. Was honestly not all that surprising. I wouldn't want to work for him... Also I'd never want to trust the reviews or opinions of someone who can't take criticism well.

  • Adds about 1ns (nanosecond, a billionth of a second) per 30cm of riser. So essentially nothing. The only problem happens when some of the signals are lost / attenuated / confused due to interference. As long as it's a high quality shielded riser it'll be totally fine.

I am not fond of LTT so I won't link their video - but they did a 1.3m PCIE extension and measured no performance impact at all. I'm sure OP is fine.
