Done. Doesn't seem like that many hoops.

I have Jellyseerr set up so that I and my friends can request things that will automatically get pulled down. It also has trending and upcoming content, so I sometimes find stuff there. Also, generally, I just see/hear people talking about stuff and want to check it out.

I had 2TB of space when I got my NAS, and that was more than enough for my lab, until I started downloading media. Then I bumped it to 4TB and then recently 12TB.

I want to have content for myself and my users. I will occasionally delete things if I don't think anyone else will want to watch it and I won't want to rewatch it. That's usually nothingy action flicks.

Just go into the office.

2x12TB in RAID1, but I'll switch to RAID6 when I have enough funds to get a rack mount NAS with 12 bays.

The Paperwhite is great; that was a good choice. And it doesn't typically come with the cover.

I know this is the wrong /c/ for this, but.. your local library probably has tons of content you can check out on your Kindle for free.

Use night - it's by far the cheapest I've found (20 euro for a year). Gives you fast speeds at night and throttles during the day. Not an issue for me.

I license all my output (code, music) under the Unlicense.

I followed /r/opensignups and jumped on a few. I did pay to get into IPT as my first, though. Worth it, imo.

Doesn't hurt to have multiple. (At least, I hope, since I'm in like five.)

I use a subscription to get as much as I can and then a block as backup.

I'd love something that works as well for music, audiobooks, and ebooks as Jellyfin does for TV and movies.

That's.. actually a pretty good idea.

It looks like those instructions are for if you're having NAT-PMP poke a hole in the firewall for you. I'm trying to set an explicit forwarded port so I don't need to enable NAT-PMP.

EDIT: Though, even turning NAT-PMP on, I can't get it working. sigh (And natpmpc won't return a positive response.)
