From my experience on SteamOS, I’m launching RDR2 through the steam app but I own RDR2 on Rockstar game launcher. I used these steps to get it running: https://expertbeacon.com/can-steam-deck-run-red-dead-redemption-2/

I can only assume it’s similar on Bazzite but I haven’t tried.

I went from PopOS to Bazzite on my desktop. My take is things feel smoother and well polished on Bazzite and I could customise it to my liking (using KDE). I have other machines to tinker with so I’ve installed other distributions on those and the modern take on containerisation of services is something I wanted to learn!

Thanks for sharing! I honestly thought Bazzite was fedora with a few more packages on the top, but your issue sounds interesting

I am curious to know how it “works better”?

I did something similar a few months ago! But honestly it took me forever to pick between GNOME and KDE. Ended up going to KDE for certain things I wanted to customise.
