Yes, although I still worked on my own projects.

I have drifted from professional to other for many years.

Now that I have coded for two generations now, I often think I should have chosen some main occupation that was not a sit down job.

But it is what it is, and I will probably program more than anything else for the rest of my working life

I’ve lived in Texas for a while so can’t help but be exposed to more of this horrible person, who has been in office for a very long time.

Easily one of the most corrupt USA politicians ; or at least less careful about his deeds.

I confess I find this somewhat humorous reading new crime done by this man.

He has done hundreds of crimes and frauds, and most articles propose that the crime they are writing about is bad, somehow ignoring all the other crimes.

It gets funnier after reading the first score of crimes. It’s like a drinking game?

Books are meant to be ignored, partially read, whimpering as much as they are to be completely read, enjoyed and celebrated.

I have seen a few people who are similar to that become old; struggling for decades with damage done to their bodies when younger.

I am not judging others , just remarking the survival rate is high

Been coding for decades: burned out several times. I always return later after other jobs

I think the most job satisfaction I ever had was demolishing a house, another good thing for me was delivering pizzas.

Reading more of the comments here, from Spain and Denmark, it seems it is in other food items in the EU; perhaps there are better regulations with yogurt?

I have noticed in the anglosphere that a significant percentage of mainstream reporters and journalists are what used to be called “independently wealthy”.

I guess it’s always been that way, but I think it’s more so now

This sugar substitute is going to be the asbestos of sweeteners in the next few decades. And I find it remarkable it is in so many foods.

Also, I don’t know much about it. Probably this was unexpected and a mystery to many at the time. I’m sure there are fascinating details. Probably a good book to read also..

In all fairness: economics are hard and we only understand inflationary practices now after watching that first.

Today on balanced news we ask the question: is fire hot? We will listen to one expert who declares most dumpster fires don’t exist.

They sign other papers in addition to receiving salary.

Usually with very low salary one expects other compensation, besides money: but performing arts and other categories allow legal creativity.

If More questions I may be wrong, such as exact details. But have seen this in real life ( although not me) . Should consult legal expert in Texas state law

Not many authors can force that kind of book deal, giving that sort of percentage, on their very first book. That took serious pull.

Additionally, some people, including me, suspect her books co-authored. And there are excellent reasons why the other authors are not publicly known. But that is only a theory
