  • Wow - that's really something.

It could almost be compared to Google's feed, included in the pixel launcher...

For some time now, every 5th or 6th card is an ad ... And over time they slowly look just like the normal news cards.

Yeah, nowadays we're getting ads forced upon us - one way or the other ads have to be seen, preferably clicked on, by us.

  • Ikr? First thing i noticed, was the quality.

Edit: i mean the good Photoshop quality, like in Q's proportion, the clean cut out & alignment, etc.

Reading my own comment, without the edit, i sound like i mean Q's bad quality, because not upscaled

  • Looks like a Brazilian

Oh, i was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

I grew up mostly in Brazil

My father is Brazilian ( a guy very similar to Rutger Hauer, very northern european, the most cliche german in the room )

Ah, no, my mom is neither, she's Colombian, born in Bogota.

I have both nationalities, Brazilian and German - the most "fun" i had with this, was when i was recruited by the military.

Both countries went "we don't care, if you already served in another country. If you are german/brazilian and eligible, you'll be recruited!"

Luckily i ended up not being recruited at all.

  • Thanks for the tip - I'll surely make a dump and the re-tagging should be worth it. I actually always enjoyed tagging mp3s. There's something rewarding in hearing and seeing the result playing out.

Also, good to have your data also "in your hands", literally.

I'm really curious if my purchased music will be included.

  • Before YouTube Music, I purchased quite a lot of albums on Google Play Music. Paying normal CD prices, no renting.

My Google Play Music library consisted of 60% uploaded and 40% purchased music.

After my Music Library migration to YouTube was done ( this sentence alone, is enough doom and sorrow for any music lover ), my uploaded music was merged with my purchases and both were put under quarantine within the "uploads" tab.

No way to recognize purchases or even the possibility of downloading any of my uploaded or purchased music.

The money I paid for the music?

    ¯(ツ)

Edit: i bought 2 - 4 albums every month on average. For a few years. Sometimes more. So, it's not like they only got a few bucks ... At least from my pov. lol

  • Don't worry. I had this exact same situation and ended up reading some and redecorating my apartment.

You'll notice a little how much we are dependent on internet nowadays, though.

But you are right: Saul Goodman!
