  • So I guess all the intel will be forwarded directly to Russia soon, then?

  • Yeah, this one guy has been trying to jumpstart so many projects. And that's admirable, but it's also too much for one dude (and I know he's tried to get some other people, but there has been drama around that - by him, I think).

But more to your point - something feels a little off even though I can't confirm anything. It does feel like this guy might just take some money and run if given the chance.

And I don't necessarily blame him for that - I probably would too. I don't want to work, and if I had money I wouldn't.

But there's just this feeling I can't shake about all of it. And I have a Pixelfed and a Loops account. They are both fine, so we'll see, I guess. But I wouldn't be surprised if I end back up with Mastodon being my sole social place for sharing photos, for example.

  • I figure the CFPB will be gone soon.

They hate any protections people have from corporations.

  • FFVI is probably my favorite game.

There is NO reason to try and add on to it. Its story is complete.

I don't need to see the "After Years" of what has happened in that world.

  • Yeah, we’ll be able to build usable chip factories here in the states in no time. That surely doesn’t take several years to get set up.

  • I worry for a cousin of mine.

He's Vietnamese and was adopted by my aunt and uncle about 15 years ago or so. By all accounts he's now a U.S. citizen. He's in college. Doing great.

But he IS brown. I'm pretty sure my uncle voted for trump for some dumbass reason. I worry my cousin could be caught up in some raid at some point.

  • Realtalk: The $7 "decades" menu item or the $7 Luxe Cravings Box is one of the best deals in fast food right now.

These usually have a taco, a "fancier" taco (like a double decker), and a burrito, AND chips and queso AND a drink. If you want a large drink it's $.20 more. So for about $8 you can get a lot of food.

Compared to McDonald's that somehow charges like $11+ for a Double Quarter Pounder meal now, it's a great deal.

I may be lucky in that the Taco Bell near me has line cooks that actually know what they are doing. I know that's not a luxury everyone has. But I'll never turn down some Taco Bell.

  • Wild there was only one game today.

    I’m glad the Thunder won.

  • Yeah, I paid for PCalc because someone put in effort to make it, and it’s good. Don’t feel bad about that.

But I wouldn’t subscribe to one.

  • Perhaps some work on a sidebar for navigation for tablets or desktop?

I know Apollo never had that, but when I’m on my iPad I tend to use Arctic simply because it uses the real estate better. But I use Voyager on my phone.

  • Step 1: put AOC and Bernie in charge

Step 2: Let em go ham

    At least do…something.

  • If parents weren’t confused by

Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One Xbox Series S/X

Then the number 2 should be just fine.

  • 'It didn't work the first time we tried to launch a streaming service. But THIS time..."

  • The people there seem pretty chill in my experience so far.

  • Hopefully this money will allow that ONE DUDE to get some help in managing these apps. I know he has maybe a couple of collaborators now, but maybe they can get some more dedicated people to build out the apps. It's a lot for one or two people to try and spin up two apps at once.

The Pixelfed app that dropped last week, for example, doesn't even have a button to view the global feed. It's better to just use the main website of whatever server you are on right now, even on your mobile device.

  • I hope he starts with all his stupid ass kids who don’t deserve to be anywhere near government.

    (I know he won’t.)

  • Really feeling for all the women and other family members of these turds.

Those that did the right thing and informed authorities are now in danger.

  • Look, I know it's a legal thing that they don't want to print the word "lie," but it's just so tiring to not see the news call a spade a spade.
