  • No, they are not. They are part of "The Greens/European Free Alliance" political group in the parliament alongside the European Green Party and some other smaller green and regionalistic parties.

Edit: however, the quote from the article speaks about the parliamentary group not the party, therefore this would imply that Volt is on board with this statement or Damian von Boeselager is, who is the only Volt MEP to date.

  • At least in Germany, depending on contract, monthly payments vary heavily. For instance the labour agreement for the automotive industry contains a 13th salary at christmas time, vacation pay in summer, a bonus in spring depending on company performance, a potential bonus if you pass on some vacation days and more. Other contracts only have a monthly salary and no bonuses. My contract has only one bonus depending on company performance in April while my wife gets 12.8 monthly salaries (1.8x salary in November as end-of-year bonus). To compare job offers in any way, you can only go with the annual number.

  • Well, Boeing does suck compared to the market in their one metric, too

Their stock is basically moving sideways since the extreme low at the start of the pandemic and the stock is basically going down since the 737 MAX grounding in March 2019. Boeing is in crisis mode for 5 years now

  • Worldnews has always been the place where all the bad opinions and misinformed bullshit culminated. I remember threads with hundreds of first level comments all stating basically the same bullshit over and over again with no insight in sight
