Wholesome thread. Acknowledged ones mistake, very rare on Reddit
They want to ignore corporations but they can't. Sad reality
They provide easier shit so that people don't have to think. In a way people prefer spoon feeding over thinking for themselves
True, I don't think a lot of people I interact with on Reddit will ever move to Lemmy.
But I guess it's okay, because I am getting the stuff which Reddit won't allow so it would be like a cool shadow community.
By the way, how do you think censorship work on Lemmy? I don't have any idea if they can block stuff, like a lot of users are on Lemm.me or Lemmy.world so there mods can control a lot of posts I guess
Things break, maintainance is required periodically, softwares libraries need to be updated timely and don't forget new features or fix implementations. Everything whether hobby or not takes time and effort and it shall be paid for eventually
