  • Yeah. I thought that after election, the insane clown president would screw Europe by stoping support for Ukraine and supporting the russian bear instead. I didn't, in my darkest dreams expect him to actually threaten to attack his allies and let his dog fund the actual fascists in Europe, undermining the stability in the classic russian mixed warfare style.

  • like social media passing the buck to their users with no regard for accuracy.

Lol this is the whole idea of the social networks - outsourcing of the work to the users (or "useds" as Stallman calls them). This used to be called "web 2.0". In other news, this also highlights one of the shortcomings behind the idea of democracy.

  • I had similar experience with my onkyo. It was ocuuring only when set in a "special" mode of being a mutimedia center of the whole living room - the mode where all the video and audio inputs go to it and it handles them and forwards the video output to the TV. I disabled it and instead connected all the inputs to the TV itself and forwarded audio only to the amp. This drastically decreased the standby usage. Maybe it applies to your situation too. Anyway, I am pretty sure draw this big in the standby is illegal in the EU.

  • The "play games" can. Three filters I always use in combination: "Premium" (i.e), "no ads", "no in-app purchases". In the current version of the app you have to scroll quite down to find these.

  • Actually the official google "play games" app has a nice feature that should be included in play store: it can filter for games without purchases.

Other than that, the mentioned minireview app has good filters.
