Main thing is, it's a search engine that is not censored by the West. Google for instance will simply never show you certain sites that have been deemed in the West to be enemy "disinformation", instead it will spit out dozens upon dozens of clones of the same MSM articles on sensitive political topics.

I have no criticism of this statement. This is a tactical statement and needs to be understood as such. However, i hope that the PSL leadership understands that they can only delay the inevitable. Gaining more time to prepare is valuable, of course, but sooner or later, any serious communist organization will be criminalized and forced underground as the country's conditions approach a revolutionary situation. They will not be able to employ their current strategy forever. They should be prepared for that eventuality both mentally and organizationally. Every communist should. Especially since we cannot predict when and how fast the situation will accelerate.

An even bigger problem is that too many Chinese students are still choosing to go to the US, UK or Australia to study. This is extremely dangerous because these people then go back to China with their heads full of neoliberal ideology and west-worship, especially in neoliberal elitist cesspools like Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, or, god forbid, Yale. Even the "ideal" scenario in which these people choose to stay in the West and don't become a fifth column in China, it still represents brain drain for China. China needs to start treating this as a critical national security issue, because it is.

Which is why he is able to do the things he does. Elections in Africa are too easy for the West with its vast financial resources, its global media apparatus, and its NGOs to manipulate and control, especially in countries where compradors are deeply embedded in the institutions. It may not seem ideal to us but the reality is that only a leader who comes to power with popular support while circumventing the colonized electoral and political systems that exist in these countries can bring a real change in direction. In practice this usually means a military coup since the military is best positioned in these countries to do this: they are the only ones with the organization, the manpower and the material resources to achieve a revolutionary takeover. There are plenty historical examples: Nasser, Gaddafi, Sankara, and now Traoré.

This propaganda is so obvious. Search his name on Google and all you get are western media smear pieces. The West desperately wishes to do to him what they did to Sankara, and for the exact same reasons. Because he is breaking the West's neo-colonial grip on Africa, inspiring a pan-African movement, and achieving real material development for his country. This is a cardinal sin as far as the mouthpieces of empire are concerned, therefore his image must be destroyed and he physically eliminated.

Definitely. I have liked the attitude i have seen so far from this person a lot. I think the most important thing is being curious and open to learning. Ignorance is only a sin if it's willful. Unfortunately, as you pointed out, some other people choose go to great efforts to remain ignorant.

Your German example is legit, but you are completely dismissing their cultural guilt related to WWII; there are signs of them shifting.

They have no guilt, else they would not be supporting another genocide or giving money and weapons to help Nazis kill Russians again. Their pretense of feeling guilt is purely performative and self-aggrandizing. The only signs are of them getting worse, more self-righteous, more racist, more authoritarian toward any dissenters, more detached from reality.

Where have i mentioned mainstream media? And why are you shifting the goalposts? The topic was freedom of speech, regardless on which media. And social media has replaced mainstream media for most people nowadays anyway.

Yes, social media is being censored and controlled across Europe and the broader West. Let's not even mention how often Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter have banned anti-imperialist channels, deleted pro-Palestinian or pro-Russian content. The governments themselves are legally persecuting social media based news outlets, forcing them to shut down

Both in Britain and in Germany you can get arrested and prosecuted for social media posts. There have been plenty such cases.

In Germany you get sued and even arrested for simply insulting politicians on social media. It is enough to simply call a politician stupid (what else can you call someone who doesn't know what doing a 360° turn means?) and you can get charged and taken to court. One particularly ghoulish politician has levied over 2000 defamation charges at people for insulting her.

They are also very racist.
