  • All this Starfield hype got me wanting to play... Fallout 4. I found an interesting mod collection on NexusMods (A Storywealth) and I've been having fun.

I'll pick up Starfield later after DLC and fixes and mods come out.

  • There are plenty of high quality indie games that don't require the latest hardware and have no mtx. If you want to move away from consoles, you could even look at something like a Steam Deck or similar for a pre-configured ready to go system.

  • Yes, there were similar vulnerabilities found around 5 years ago, known as Meltdown and Spectre.

  • It doesn't even need to be a degree, honestly. You could go learn a trade. There are many trades that pay much more than many white-collar desk jobs. I'd say check out your local community college, trade school, or similar to see if anything looks interesting. Contact them and request more information or even a tour if something does. Regardless of the route you take, you definitely want to learn some sort of marketable skill. Also, there's nothing wrong with pursuing a career that's just tolerable or boring, but pays the bills. You can seek fulfillment outside of work.

As far as not knowing what to go for at 21, I just worked after graduating high school at 18, and it wasn't until I was 23 that I decided to go back to school.

  • I can't suggest which one to get since we don't know enough about Switch 2 and it's all entirely dependent on your personal situation, but I will post this:

    • There are plenty of good games to play on Switch right now
    • Switch 2, like all consoles, will take time to build a significant games offering
    • According to the article, we don't know yet if Switch 2 will be backwards compatible or not
