It’s only an own goal if Trump feels any consequences. I’m still hopeful that he will, but losing hope every day.

Those 360 cams would be decent for this because they don’t need aiming and you can zoom in on the interesting action after the fact.

We haven’t taken our foot off the gas and legislators are stopping us from even touching the brake pedal.

All these guys are a threat to humanity.

Total CO2 will go up if we tried that. If we were smarter about reuse, like say, washing processing and resealing glass containers instead of crushing and remelting them (at best) we might be better. But plastics are much lighter, space efficient and durable. Which makes them less carbon intensive in many cases.

Really we need less one time use or single serving containers of any material. Which isn’t likely unless society collapses and we have to live in local communes to survive.

If you can get local fresh eggs you might not need to refrigerate them. We get them from a relative who has a few chickens and more eggs than they can eat to share.

Were the other 1/3 from flu/illness or are gas attacks not included in artillery deaths maybe?

Bible cults most certainly are, and the beliefs of the family that lost their child to measles is clearly one of those. They constantly make their followers do things against their self interest: tithing, eschewing modernity, having dozens of kids, mass suicides in the extreme cases.

Yup and they way they talk—with made up terms and repeating eventually meaningless words like woke and DEI—it’s exactly how cults like Heaven’s Gate, Jim Jomes, and Branch Davidians talked and controlled their followers.

9/11 ruined it for me, specifically the “proud to be an American”, flag on cars garbage—while we passed the Patriot act and started more wars.

That reason for renaming would be too logical.

I only ever used it in command lines. And use other simple IDEs (Textmate and a bunch of custom bundles on a Mac…) occasionally Atom based IDEs for some embedded electronics too, but only really as a hobby.
