  • Look, I didn't want to have to be the one to say this, but since no one else is apparently going to: That toddler looks rough af bro... I mean, basically like a nearly grown ass man.

Hopefully they land on their face and you can get it some of that sweet, sweet reconstructive surgery so it isn't fuck ugly all its life.

Obviously, you look fine and stuff tho, OP. Don't consider my words a poor reflection upon your semen/egg quality. I'm sure they get it from their other parent. Now, let's move on before anyone points out that, best case scenario, I've now creepy ass things

  • Bro, carrots to chicken? Really? You literally had anything to anything to choose from here - while attempting to literally one-up a god, mind - sky's the limit and everything, and that's what you settle on?

Not rocks into gold, sand into heroin, water into a 40 year old scotch, pee into milkshakes; nah, that'd be fuckin lame compared to carrots into motherfuckin chicken! I mean, I get it, kinda, cuz I'm not into carrots and would prefer chicken in its place 100% of the time, but... I'm just sayin, compared to some of the possibilities that's like mid at best, prolly more like a sidegrade if we're being honest.

Oooh, every other flavor Starburst into pink! Boom. Talk about unlimited cosmic power

  • Not to sound like I'm jumping directly to something extreme right off the bat or anything, but just from your characterization of her moods seeming to vacillate between such extreme highs (I want to be a prodigy at everything) and extreme lows (I'm worthless and horrible) paired with the grandiose thinking (FAME!) it kinda sounds like she might be suffering from bi-polar disorder... Severe ADHD with some form of depression that's going unmedicated (or possibly unsuccessfully self-medicated) could also be a possibility as well...

How often do these shifts in mood occur?

Also - and perhaps more importantly - while I think it's honestly super admirable of you to seem to be so interested in helping a friend (particularly one you don't even know irl, to boot), it's important to remember not to allow yourself to think that you, solely, are responsible for their mood, self-esteem, or well being. That may sound callous at first, but - and I say this as someone who has suffered from mental illness(es) for as long as I can recall - it's like they tell you on planes: You have to secure your own oxygen mask first before helping with anyone else's... To put it another way: If you let the drowning person drag you under, you certainly aren't going to be saving them (or yourself, for that matter). Please don't take this as discouragement toward trying to help, by any means, as you 100% should, imo. I just feel like even if you already know, it doesn't hurt to have it reinforced.

  • It was more denigrating, than anything, if you wanna go down that road, precious. 😋 And you seemed more than pleased to open the door to insults, so... I dunno, don't dish it out if you can't take it, snowflake?

And if it was just an understanding issue, I would've simply said you were ignorant, but at this point either you're genuinely incapable of understanding or being purposefully obtuse. Both are pretty fucking stupid, so...

  • I mean, I guess? I dunno, I kinda wondered that at first, but I'm also kinda at a loss at to what other comment that could be a response to as well...? 🤷‍♂️ I mean, it seems like it's at least in the right thread, mostly, from the context lol 😂

  • Science is pretty much by definition supposed to be an objective measurement of the universe, uncolored and unaffected by political or idealogical bias (those would be your "political censorship" and "funding cuts" you mentioned, since you're apparently having trouble following along...) Since science should be objective, funding based on idealogical grounds or the political censorship of research is anathema to science, as it is by definition not objective. I'm not sure how I can make that any clearer.

I'm not sure what about any of this has to do with me making friends, but let me know how attempting to be condescending and thinking you're clever while completely missing a simple point works out for you... Cuz I may be autistic, but you're stupid, and I know which I'd rather be 🤣😂

  • Who are you responding to here? 🤔

So, I guess just in case you're somehow genuinely unfamiliar with a nested comment structure (which, if so, you've got to explain your situation to me, because I honestly can't think of a probable scenario in which you aren't, yet it's 2025 and you also have both a device with internet access and the faculties to reply to me): That was what's known as a 'top-level comment', which means it wasn't a reply to anything, but instead a comment which can be responded to that gets listed alongside other comments which can also be responded to... Any responses to these - such as your question - get listed beneath (otherwise known as being 'nested' under) the original comment or post, where it can be replied to in turn. Collectively, this is known as a 'comment thread'.

    Got it now? 👍

  • Shit, it's disrespectful enough to me as a consumer, let alone whatever Steam shit they're in violation of lol I didn't even buy it, thankfully, just grabbed it on GP after enjoying the demo awhile back, but I'm uninstalling it rn, actually, cuz I'm principled and shit

  • On both sides of what? What are you even talking about? And what other media, exactly, is providing not only a public mouthpiece to, but also driving steady streams of traffic directly toward, unabashed misogynists and bigots? I'll wait... 🙄

You can definitely take your dogwhistles and white supremacist apologism and fuck right off with it tho 😁

  • If I had to give a single reason, it'd probably be because they're the ones, by and large, who are not only providing a platform for the dissemination of these abhorrent views by this trash, but they're directly profiting from it to boot... I feel like that's honestly pretty obvious, though I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here and choose to assume you're genuinely asking and not just being facetious

  • I really don't get the people mentioned in the article expressing the sentiment that their use of AI isn't a big deal because it's (so far, anyway) only evident in a few, less important spots... For one, you don't know for sure where all it's been used, only what's been caught so far - which it's been out for (I think several) weeks now already and we're just now finding these instances without looking for them, who knows what else there might be - secondly, and infinitely more importantly imo, is the much larger issue of them not disclosing their use of generative AI at all to begin with.

  • Yeah, cuz people obviously don't store wealth in bank accounts or investment properties and/or shell corporations.... That's why the Caymans are famous for their shellfish and local hospitality, and Bezos' ex-wife didn't end up getting much cash in their divorce.

It's also fortunate that these idiots haven't figured out that they could probably have a (few) companies that hold things (excuse my rough terminology for this concept I just now came up with) maybe even purchase them too - like jets, cars, maybe yachts even - and not have to pay any of those taxes!

Man, i hope word doesn't get out about this!
